Curly Vs. Straight Hair

Most of us first notice the hair and face on other people. If you have the perfect makeup, and dry and damaged hair, it will certainly overshadow your pretty face in the negative way.

Long hair, short, semi-long, curly, straight ... Unfortunately, we cannot choose our hair. It is natural as it should be, and our choice is whether we will curl it, iron, color it ...

In this article, I will single out two types of hair: curly and straight.

Straight hair:

The positive side of straight hair are that you can wear your hair literally in every way (tied in a pony tail, plait ...). Straight hair looks much shinier and healthier than curly, because it is on a flat surface, which, logically, more reflects light. Straight hair is easier to maintain. It doesn't require products such as foam, gel ... Of course, serum is good for ends on straight hair. It should be noted that straight hair looks longer than curly.

Disadvantages are that straight hair sometimes becomes monotonous, eager for change. Of course, there are numerous techniques by which you can turn a straight hair into curly or wavy (Figaro, curlers, clothes ...), even if only short term.

Curly hair:

According to research, there is a smaller percentage of people who have curly hair than those with straight hair. Curly hair requires a lot more care than straight hair because it is prone to drying and tear, split ends, braking ... It is harder to comb this hair when it is dry. Of course, not impossible, but after a long and painful combing it will look ten times worse. It can only be combed while is wet, with conditioner or spray for combining. If you still long for straight hair, the only way to do that is iron, or at best blow dry. Due to high temperatures both types of hair straightening are harmful, especially iron.

This hair never looks dull. The fact is that curly hair is limited for creating hairstyles, but this hair is in itself sufficient beauty. Therefore, if you are the owner of curly hair, do not use iron very often, because you will make great damage and later, it won't look nice even when it is curly, it will be damaged. Therefore - you wear your hair as it is, nourish it and don't damage it with iron.

Curly vs. straight hair

We conclude that both types of hair have their good and bad sides. We just have to point out the good, nourish our hair and wear it proudly as it is. Maybe you will discover what kind of hair looks "better" on the following photos:

Color-treated Hair Help

In order to be shiny and healthy, long and colored hair requires special care. You can create your own hair conditioner who will help your hair.

Of course, it is much easier and quicker to purchase products, but today, when you need to take account of every penny, it's not bad to save some money.

Hops for black hair

Black hair sometimes looks too matte, so you should use preparations that will restore the luster of your hair. Liven up your hair with semi-permanent color and use a regular conditioner. Once a month, make a mask, specifically for black hair.
Mix two tablespoons of beer with half a liter of water. Apply the mixture on your hair and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with water to avoid the characteristic odor. This mix increases volume and shine.

Chamomile for blonds

Blond hair color should be given the most attention. Blond is quickly washed and hair often takes on a yellowish or greenish tint. Once a week rinse your hair in chamomile tea. This will regenerate your hair and give it volume. Cover a fistful of fresh chamomile with a pint of hot water. Wait 10 minutes, then strain tea. After washing your hair with tea, rinse it in water.

Coffee for brunette

For bright brown hair coffee is the best. Cook two ounces of coffee, cool it and mix with one egg. Rub the mixture on dry hair, wrap head in foil. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse.

Henna for red hair

Red color is the hardest to take care off because it washes the fastest, so you should pay careful attention to maintaining the color. Henna is an excellent solution for it. Mix it with water and leave on for 40 minutes. Then rinse well. Use this one a month.

The Best Hair Masks

Hair mask penetrates deep into the hair, gives moisture and restores the structure of your hair.

They are used as needed, preferably once a month. You will achieve the best effect if you use a hair mask immediately after cutting, because the tips of hair are then open and can easily receive nutrients.

Before applying hair masks dry your hair with a towel. If you put too many products your hair will become limp, and the same applies if the conditioner or mask is not rinsed thoroughly. It is important to note that, despite numerous advertising campaigns, no product will heal split ends - they should be cut.

These are masks that will help your hair to restore moisture and elasticity:

1. Alterna 10 The Science of TEN Hair Masque

2. Kerastase Kerastase Nutritive Masquintense

Homemade Hair Mask - For Longer Hair

In this article, I will describe to you the mask that has really helped my hair. It became less fragile and strengthened.

This mask is a lot cheaper than the one you buy or hair treatment in a hairdresser and has a very similar effect.

Ingredients:

* Castor oil
* Olive oil
* Almond oil
* If desired, add coconut oil, and if you have dark hair add a walnut.
* An everyday shampoo for frequent washing
* Your favorite shampoo
* Hair mask / hair conditioner (depends on what you use after shampooing)

Mix olive oil with almond and pour into a separate container (if you have walnut or coconut oil, stir them as well).

First on the roots rub castor oil (you can mix it with olive because it is quit thick, but proportion of these oils is in favor of the castor).

Castor oil has a good influence on hair growth, and therefore, it is important to massage the hair roots.

After that apply a mixture of olive and almond oil on the rest of the hair. Put foil on your hair or shower cap and wrap in a hot towel.

Keep this mixture in your hair all night, but if you're like me, and you cannot sleep, it will be enough to leave on for two hours. Rinse with a mild and cheap shampoo, because of purely economic reasons, it is difficult to rinse oil, so do not spend expensive shampoos. Gentle shampoo in large quantities won't be aggressive towards your hair.

Then apply your favorite shampoo. If it is intended for the hair renewal allow it to act 2 minutes and rinse. Wrap hair in a towel to absorb water and nourish it with the mask / hair conditioner. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes and then rinse it. After such effort into your hair, you probably will not have the heart to dry your hair with a dryer.

Much simpler masks that I also loved:

* Mask of mayonnaise. Apply mayonnaise on dry hair and leave it as long as you can. 30 minutes would be great.
* Eggs + honey + olive oil mask also nourishes the hair perfectly.

Short Haircuts That You'll Love

Take a look at some great idea for a make-over. If you have long hair, maybe it's time for a haircut, and if you already have a short, perhaps it is time to change the color or a few asymmetric strands.

Are you tired of the same hair in the mirror? Be sure to analyze the new spring trend - short and semi-long hair with asymmetric fringes which in a romantic wave are falling over one side of the forehead. Such hairstyles suggest many big brands of hair - from Jacques Dessangea through Franck Provost, to Fabia Salsa and Lothmanna. Maybe this is just the hairstyle of your dreams for the upcoming spring?

Fabio Salsa proposes a semi-long hair, warm brown tone, with a wave falling over the side of the forehead.

Jacques Dessande opts for the classic - short and blue - just like in the 80-a

Tips For Beautiful Hands And Nails

Hands care should be a part of your daily routine. Protect them with cream and gloves, so that your manicure would shine. See what are the basic guidelines for proper hand care.

REGULAR CARE
Regular care is most important for beautiful hands. In winter, you do not really need expensive creams, but it is necessary to acquire the routine of putting some cream on your hands after washing. Dry skin will quickly soften if you put some cream in the evening, before bed. Furthermore, put a small cream package in your bag so you'll always have it with you. When you put a mask on your face, apply it on hands to. Tap it in the skin and put nylon gloves.

PROTECTION
Don't wash your hands with strong soap to often, especially in winter. When washing dishes and doing housework, wear gloves because detergents, except that dries the skin, it removes the protective layer from nails, and their surface becomes sensitive to fungi and bacteria.

CLEAN NAILS
While long nails make hands more feminine, short rounded nails will look cleaner on your hands. Shorten the length of the nails to three or four millimeters, and then maintain that length. Groomed nails include the regular removal of nail polish and cuticle care.

NAIL POLISH
Draw the attention to your hands with modern nail polish. The latest collection this season includes purple, pink and red shades, though, regardless of trends, apply nail polish in accordance with wardrobe and makeup. The lacquer is applied in two thin layers. Before painting apply a clear varnish or lacquer base, and then put an ordinary nail lacquer. That way nail polish will last loner on your nails. You need to apply nail polish from the bottom to the top of the nail. The thin line along the root of the nail should remain free because the nails will then be able to breathe.

Lemon's juice suits nails Lemon juice whitens your nails. It acts as a peeling for the skin at the bottom of the nail. Hold your nails two minutes in lemon juice. For dry skin on the fingers use oil bath. Olive, sunflower or sesame oil should be hot (not too hot), and then soak your fingers or entire hands for 10 minutes.

How To Save Damaged Hair

What is needed for a shiny and healthy hair? Listen to expert advice and we have no doubt that soon your hair will be like from magazines.

Chemicals from hair colorants are the most common cause of hair damage, but spray, and gels are also on the list. However, most people aren't even aware that their hair is in a really bad condition. At the recent annual congress of the American Academy of Dermatology, experts have offered advice that can help you.

Dr. Zoe Draelos, a consultant at Duke University Medical School, argues that the moisturizing conditioners are necessary when it comes to damaged hair and there is no contradiction!

"One of the most common misconceptions about hair is that she is alive, when, in fact, is not and can't heal itself when damaged. The only way is to grow new hair from the scalp. Women need to understand that things such as color, gel and sprays may eventually damage the hair structure and affect its appearance, "explained Dr. Draelos.

This damage can be reduced if you use a nourishing shampoo combined with conditioner. Products with dimethicone can recover shine, reduce static electricity and tame the hair. Serums that you apply to your hands and rub through your hair, but not the scalp, is also recommended.

However, if you want to color your hair, then use the colors that are close to your natural color, give an advantage to a darker color, not brighter.

Waterless and intractable ends and the smell of "burned" hair indicate that your hair is damaged due to heat. "Think about your hair like it is a steak - the first is soft and flexible. Once you cook it, steak will change the texture and be hard. Similarly, the hair changes with time when exposed to heat, resulting in a fragile hair that breaks easily. Protecting your hair from too much heat is the key to maintaining healthy hair, "advises Dr. Draelos.

Once your hair is "burned" - there is no turning back. The only solution is a haircut. Don't dry your hair with a hair dryer. In winter use hair dryer at the lowest speed and avoid the biggest one.

To reduce the harmful effects of sunlight in summer wear a hat regularly and nourish hair with moisturizing mask. Choose a shampoo and conditioner designed for your hair type, and apply conditioner only on the ends.

Conquer Your Hair With Fruit Treatment

Fruits & Passion's development director Séverine Math, which is engaged in the production of cosmetic products based on fruit, delivers advice on how to tame the lion's mane, and from it to make a soft, silky and supple hair.

"Sunflower oil contains fatty acids that will lock moisture. Lime will balance the pH. A large amount of potassium in bananas will do much for the health of the scalp", Séverine Math revealed this secret.

Of course, you can make this mask at home, and you do not need any exotic products that will flatten your wallet.

Ingredients:

* one banana
* tablespoon of sunflower oil
* half tablespoons of fresh lime juice

Mash banana with a fork into a paste, add oil and lime juice. Mix it to create a uniform and homogeneous paste. Massage it into dry hair and scalp for half an hour before showering. Distribute it throughout hair.

After 30 minutes, rinse the mask with water and mild shampoo (the baby shampoo is ideal). Enjoy in the beautiful hair!

How To Straighten Your Hair Like A Pro

Every woman with curly or wavy hair knows that exposure to temperatures is a must to have your hair really flat and smooth. Those with somewhat straight hair will serve a combination of brushes and blow dryer, while the other will have to find a solution to the inevitable flat iron. One of the most common myths is that the hair straightening with flat iron eventually result in scorched, strawy hair, but with a few tricks you can easily avoid such a result.

1. Don't save when buying hair straightener: quality flat iron will serve you for at least five years, so consider this as a long-term investment. Pay special attention to the material that straightening plates were made of : those made of ceramics or titanium will evenly distribute the heat on its surface, causing minor hair damage. The secret is in the release of negative ions, which reduce electricity and tighten the hair cuticle, resulting in shiny and straight strands. If the panels are only covered with ceramic or Teflon, heat will be uneven and the damage to the hair and drying out will be considerably larger.

2. Choose the flat iron of appropriate size, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. If you have short, rare or fragile hair, select a iron with a smaller and narrower tiles, so you could more easily maneuvered with it and caused less damage to the hair. Likewise, long and thick hair will be easily and quickly straighten with wider plates.

3. Adjust the temperature to the hair type and texture: when buying flat iron you must check the possibility of adjusting the temperature to the desired level. Light, thin and dyed hair will withstand temperatures up to 160 degrees, while a thick or tough hair requires temperatures higher than 170 degrees.

4. Prepare the hair for straightening: after shampooing and applying conditioner, apply hair product that will protect hair from heat (usually in a spray), which will protect your hair from styling and straightening.

5. Take your flat iron and begin. Divide the hair into tufts a few inches wide, and start with straightening at the length of ten inches from the root. Lightly drag flat iron along the hair without stopping so your hair would not be overheated. If you want to add some volume to your hair, start from the middle towards the ends, slightly move your flat iron from your face as you go towards the ends.

Never use the flat iron until your hair is wet, because this is a sure path to the scorched and drained hair. Occasionally clean your flat iron with warm cloth to remove traces of styling products. Regardless of the quality of your straightener, daily practice is still not recommended - any styling tool or technique that involves high temperatures will inevitably dry up the hair after a certain time, if repeated and prolonged used.

Strategy For The Perfect Hair

It feels so good when someone sends a compliment to your healthy, shiny and (ah, so) sexy hair! But, how to find the right strategy for the perfect care and styling? You have so many dilemmas. We asked the professionals to help us solve the twenty most common hair concerns ...

1. How often should I wash my hair?
If necessary, it should be done daily. Of course, use a mild shampoo. You should always keep in mind several important things:
- Don't apply too much shampoo.
- Before rubbing shampoo on your hair, dilute it with water.
- If your hair is very damaged or dry, apply shampoo only on the roots, not on the whole hair.
- Finally, rinse your hair with lukewarm water.

2. Does diet affect on the hair?
Unfortunately, with the diet you can't make the hair to look like a luxuriant mane, but can enhance its radiance and glow. Beans, lentils and beef have a positive effect, because they are rich in iron which prevent its decline. Similar effects have nuts, rice and cereal whole grains (rich in copper, zinc, biotin and unsaturated fatty acids).

3. Does conditioner binds your hair?
No, at least not when the hair requires special care. Balm recovers its jagged pieces and makes it easier to shape. However, it should be applied only to defective parts, for example, the strands or parts that have highlights. However, if you wish to give your hair extra care, use a hair mask. In that case don't apply too much and gently rinse off. When choosing conditioner, be careful - not all have the same amount of substances that add shine.

4. What is the quantity of products for hair care enough?
Most women overdo with the use of hair products. It is enough to put a small amount of shampoo, like a small coin. The amount of a hair mask should match the size of walnuts, conditioner should match hazelnuts. Very long or thick hair requires applying a larger amount of products.

5. How to save the hairstyle when things go wrong?
Sometimes you may think that every single hair has decided to ruin your day. Because of the many commitments, you have not washed your hair, and an important meeting is waiting for you. Then reach for the amazing hair arms for many employed women - spray for styling or hot curlers that will "fix" loose curls. The alternatives are: dry shampoo for washing hair or baby powder which will absorb the grease from the hair root, and your hair looks like you've just washed it. And when nothing else can help, please use the good old trick - pick up the hair in a ponytail.

6. How to prevent hair loss?
If you have this problem, don't panic. First, watch the hair two to three weeks, and then contact a dermatologist. The cause of the problem can be intense sun, iron deficiency or the thyroid gland disorder. To determine the specific cause of your problem, it is best to consult a dermatologist who will direct you to the necessary analysis. And is there any other option that can help? Try dermatological shampoo, capsules and lotions that can be bought in any pharmacy.

7. Does the hair requires different care as we get older?
It is absolutely true, because - eventually - the head skin gets older and the hair becomes thin, brittle and lose shine. To make a small parallel: as facial skin requires different care in thirties and fifties (later in life should be cherished with Q10 creams that contain essential fatty acids and carnitine), the same is with hair. Therefore, in fifties you will need to use hair products that will encourage its bounce and shine.

8. Is all hair the same?
Women with black hair have about 100,000 strands of hair on head. This hair color is widespread throughout the world, because it dominates the continent such as Asia, Africa and Latin America. Now consider the fact that these continents have a very large number of immigrants that have settled around the world ...
Blonds have an average of 150,000 hairs, that is - more than any other, but their hair is much thinner and finer. Most of the blond comes from the Scandinavian countries. An interesting fact is that in the world there are only ten percent of the natural blond.
Redheads have 90,000 strands of hair, much less than people of other hair colors, but the red hair is much firmer and stronger. Only one percent of the world's population has natural red hair.
Brunettes are with 110,000 hairs in the middle. Conventional wisdom is that these are very intelligent woman, with strong character. Looking for proof? The majority of Nobel Prize winners were brunette.

9. What to look for before hair coloring?
You don't need to wash your hair before hair coloring, because a fine layer of fat protects the scalp from chemical stress. Intensive care before this process would be counterproductive. If you dye your hair yourself, keep in mind that the hair length to the shoulders need two packages of color.

10. When your visit to the hairdresser is really worth it?
Whenever you change hair color, radical hairstyle change or a mini-wave. Only experts will accurately assess your natural hair color and desired color mix - that way there won't be unpleasant surprises. The same goes for the mini-wave.

11. Why in thirties the hair turns gray?
During inhalation, in every cell of the body is created hydrogen peroxide, even in the hair follicle, which usually enzymes neutralize. Over time, this process works harder, du to a rising concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. To put it simple, there is some kind of synthesis of natural bleaching agents. In some people it happens earlier, some later. Don't let that worry you too much.

12. What is the difference between bleaching and coloring in blond?
From dark hair to bright shades - this change can be achieved only with bleaching. Natural, dark pigments must be removed from the hair, and for that it is used a relatively strong means of oxidation, such as peroxide and per-sulfate. When coloring in blond, much less natural pigment is removed. Thus, for example, extends the range of colors. As a oxidation product, is only used peroxide, and the hair is much less damaged, but the effect is weaker.

13. Why are colors without ammonia better?
They have more pleasant smell. The smell is in any case, much weaker than that emit dye with ammonia, which is used to "fill" hair so that it could precipitate the color pigments. This role, instead of ammonia, take special oils, which are also alkaline, but don't have intense (read: nasty) smell.

14. What hair styling products work best?
Of course, this depends on the hair and hair density. The cream is good when you want a ponytail. And the gel is good for styling of a short hair, and those of medium length, and for the wet curls also. Longer hair will look greasy if you apply gel and wax, so use them in small quantities. To correct or style your hair, apply a small amount of cream and gently rub into your hair. Hair spray works at any length and styling, but too much spray can blind hair.

15. Can I use Figaro every day?
Depends on temperature. The new models (Brown and Philips) have the ability to regulate temperature for every hair type. So if you want to set the curls every day, do not do it at full power, up to 200 degrees. In any case, use special products for the design and protection against heat.

16. What you need to know about the perm and curls?
Mini-Wave has been underestimated technique for hair volume, depending on the technique and the size of curlers is placed only at the root of the hair or the entire length. He's not a good solution for long hair, but it will look great on a short, straight or on the medium length hair. Blow drying is much easier when the hair is slightly wavy.

Rollers are for luxurious curls - Truth or Fiction?
Many believe that with the big rollers are achieved luxurious curls. Unfortunately, this is technically impossible, because - bigger curls means that the effect is weaker. To have perfect curls, tighten the hair when you curl it.
Can hair change its structure during curling?
To make straight hair became curly joints in the interior have to "regroup." Think of them as bars on the ladder who under the influence of chemicals are fixed in the new (wavy) form. Of course, not everyone can terminate connections to re-merge, and the hair loses its elasticity, and can break.

17. How can I correct the natural curls?
There are several possibilities, one of which is ironing your hair. Although, it is much more modern, permanent fix. This procedure is carried out in a similar way like a mini-wave, whenv with the chemical compounds is breaking the hair. After treatment, the hair is formed. Then, with the fixing fluid, are closed the open joints in the interior of the hair. Hair should not be washed three days after this.

18. How to make bun last longer?
The best posture you will achieve if hair is not freshly washed, because it is easier to shape. Straight strands first curl with Figaro and allow the hair to cool down to make it easier to shape. For firming use hairpins that are wide.

19. How to do a "banana" bun?
It is important that you have shoulder length hair. Comb it in the low tail, secure it, and then twist the tail-up - first the tops. Shape of bananas, which occurs, fix with the hairpin and (eventually) with hair spray.

20. What are the best tricks to achieve the volume?
Use products that stimulate the volume of the hair and blow dry with the extension for the diffusion (make sure you do a small, circular motion). You can just use a simple trick that will achieve a sumptuous volume: change the natural parting, this will correct the hair root.

Layered Hair Styles

Straight hair cut is forgiven only if you belong to the Adams family Adams, in other cases only a lively highlights and hair with lots of volume will give you a pass.

The good new is that this style does not have to be blessed with abundant hair because the layers can accommodate to any hair type and face shape. But hair cutting isn't the same for all hair types, it must be adapted to the natural structure of hair.

A few tips that are good to know:

- If you have curly hair, it is enough to refresh it with several layers, but in larger intervals. That is the only way that curls will keep their shape and won't become frizzy.

- Thin, soft hair will also look good with a few layers, but it has to have some layers around the face and they can't be too short, but about the ears height. That way you will get the desired volume.

- If your hair is straight or slightly wavy and you would like shaped hair, ask your hairdresser to cut off layers at the very tops of the hair, and length ranging from a few centimeters.

- To a very thick hair cutting in several layers will do good to make it more thinner. Ask your hairdresser to make it more thinner on the tops (holding the scissors vertically).

How to Detox Your Hair

January is the month marked by frequent Detox diets and treatments, but have you ever thought that your hair needs deep cleansing and detox program.

Treatments for deep cleaning are a big hit in the world, because they remove dirt much better than conventional washing with shampoos and conditioners. The aim of these treatments is to remove even the smallest remnants of the styling products and other impurities that build up on the hair over time. Experts from world-renowned salon and cosmetic companies have discovered tricks that can help you.

Don't wash your hair every day

Herman Ho, Headmasters artistic director says it is best to avoid daily washing. "Try to wash your hair at least every other day to allow the natural sebum that the scalp produces to regenerate hair and scalp. Even if you have oily hair, daily washing is unnecessary. "

Massage

Hairdresser Leo Bancoft warns that when we wash our hair at home we often don't perform scalp massage, and because of that our hair never looks so good as when is washed in the hair salon. "Massage the scalp to stimulate circulation, as this will give you hair that healthier and more beautiful look."

Check out the ends

Damaged ends are a common problem, especially for women who don't want to cut their hair. Regular cutting of the tops is one of the things you have to do and after going to the hairdresser, take care of your hair regularly at home. Silicon or some other product for split ends will be enough, just apply it after each wash.

Cool it

Herman Ho warns that the excessive heat, such as those in hair dryers and irons during recovery program is unacceptable. "Do not straiten your hair on a daily basis, but rather opt for a grunge look, and let your hair to recover."

Feed it

Unlike celebrity detoxification diet when you do not eat almost anything, you need to nourish and feed your hair. Once a week, put hair mask, and make sure that your diet is healthier than usual, because everything you eat affects your appearance.

Be gentle

There is no woman who does not know the scene: you are in a hurry, you have natural dreadlocks in your hair and are trying to unravel them with the aggressive brush pulling. First of all, calm down, inspect the brush, because it is a big chance you need a new brush and for the end go through your hair with your fingers. Pulling out just does not make sense.
